If you’ve had a horrible year . . . take a deep breath. You aren’t alone. If you have a roof over your head and food to fill your belly, it’s not as bad as all that. So many this year haven’t either of those two things.
So how do you make 2012 better? Review what you can do that you haven’t already tried to change the direction of your life. Write it down in outline format. Fill in the details as they come to you. Don’t make it overwhelming. If you make your goals too complicated, you may find you are disappointed in yourself, and that defeats the purpose of this entire exercise. Your first goal should be to create change.
Ask yourself two questions: What do I want to change? What can I do to bring that change about? Start with baby steps . . . you’ll get there slowly but surely. Give yourself the time you need and work on it daily. Don’t put it on the back burner. Make it a part of your daily routine. That’s the key . . . Make it daily . . . Make it part of your routine . . . and you’ll get there.
Have a better year!
