Forgiveness is something we all have a hard time with. Perhaps it’s because we don’t want to “forgive and forget,” perhaps it’s because it takes so much strength to find it within ourselves to “make peace” with those who hurt us. Who knows? As a life coach, what I do know is that finding the strength within to forgive heals wounds and helps us move forward.
So if you have been harboring animosity in your heart and soul over a wrong perpetrated upon you, consider how it would feel to let go of those feelings. If you believe it will help you make the progress you seek, it’s time to forgive. How? Visualize yourself pulling the pain from within you and throwing it to the four corners of the Earth. Now see yourself replacing that pain with love and smoothing it over so that no scars remain. Wash your hands, inhale deeply, exhale slowly, and start your healing journey.
