We Are the Strugglers

Israeli Inventions

We, the Israelites, are the world’s most ancient “strugglers.”

Before our return to Eretz Yisrael (Israel) during the time of Moses,

We were enslaved

Our sons drowned in the Nile

After our return to our homeland

We lived there a thousand years

Until our temple was destroyed

But we returned

And rebuilt

Then spread out

Across the world

Only to be

Prevented . . .

. . . from practicing our faith

. . . from owning land

. . . from owning businesses

Burned alive

Blamed for crimes we did not commit

Everything we own taken

Forced to convert

Our arms branded

Our hair shaved

Sent to gas chambers

Only to return from the ashes of hate

To our homeland

Where we drained the swamps

And brought the desert to life

And now

After less than a century

The world wants to take our homeland away from us

Yet again

Labeling us the “colonial invaders”

As if our presence there since the time of Moses

Did not exist

We are the Israelites

The Strugglers

We are the only people on Earth

With more than a 3500-year documented connection

To the Holy Land

We are not the “colonial invaders.”

We are

The Restored Indigenous Peoples

The Strugglers

Struggling to live in peace

With our neighbors.

In Eretz Yisrael

Our home.
