A Hospice Worker’s Daily Prayer

Sinai Covenant

Dear God,

Guide my hands,

My heart,

And mind

To do that

Which brings comfort to my patients and not be blind

To everything they’re going through

To everything I need to do.

Enable me to be for them

Your hands, Your love, Your Earthly Angel blend;

For hospice work is hard, You know,

But with You beside me, my heart glows,

Because everything I do down here

Has meaning with Your guidance from Your heavenly atmosphere;

For what You want for them is what I want, too,

So thank You, Dear God, for guiding me through.
