Green is the color of so many trees
The algae in the oceans
Crops blowing in the breeze.
Green is the color we call someone who has much to learn.
Ready to grow into life’s challenges, not worn with concern.
Green is the color we all want to see
For our animals to prosper, for our birds and our bees.
May your hills remain fertile, your animals well.
May the green in your life give you joyous stories to tell.
May those stories be filled with happiness and love
For all the green you’ve been given with help from above.
